Some things are just too good not to share, which is why I'm going to let you in on a little secret: Anthropologie is an amazing place to go for pre-framed, vintage-inspired artwork. Every item in their collection, from small watercolor scenes of Paris to large tapestries, tells a story and will infuse your space with a sense of history. Even this detailed portrait of Cuban architecture by Lydia Marie Elizabeth seems like something you'd spy in a treasured family album. Expect to pay anywhere from $100 to $300. (Which, for the record, is much cheaper than an actual antique.)
Hands down, the cheapest and most reliable frames you'll find are from the Mainstays line at Walmart. They're perfect if you just want a simple frame and a lot of bang for your buck, and often come in large packs, like this set of six frames for just under $20.
For those of you on a tight budget who are keen to try out alcohol markers, Ohuhu alcohol brush markers (shown below) are my ultra-budget pick. They're even cheaper than Blick Studio Markers but I would hesitate to call them "professional-quality" because (at the time of this writing) they're not refillable, the nibs aren't replaceable (and tend to fray much more quickly than the pro-level markers) and they're only available in sets (whereas Blick and Copic Markers are available individually). However, for beginners and hobbyists looking for an introduction to alcohol markers, they're a great buy! Plus, Ohuhu is considering offering refills and selling their markers individually, so they are certainly a company to watch if those factors are important to you. Read my in-depth review of Ohuhu alcohol brush markers to find out if they're right for you!
Etsy is especially good for finding cool, cheap art. Its eclectic style and DIY ethos makes it a worthy destination for those who don't want to break the bank but still prefer artwork that won't be found in every other home or apartment on the block.

The Olympic barbell is the piece of equipment that we recommend being the highest quality piece of equipment in your gym. You will likely use the barbell more than any other piece of equipment, and there are big differences, both in the performance and durability, between a high-quality barbell and the cheap rods of steel that some manufacturers label as barbells.

Not because I was overwhelmed by the Mona Lisa being painted by a strange boy, but because it was huge, framed, lightweight and clearance priced at $20. (Way cheaper than buying a big canvas.) And, it was the right size for this wall on our patio:
